Lokaler Mapware is unique: It’s able to display point-of-interests, events and local news simultaneously. Our mantra has always been: Users want to know what’s going on around them. Our software allows you to run your own location-based service as a modern „Single Page Application“. It’s like Google Maps with your own data.
Lokaler MapWare primarily aims at publishers and local newsrooms, as many of them hold vast amounts of valuable data with geo-spatial references. We want to help making use of that data. AGI MapWare can parse existing sheets and databases (API) and geocodes adresses. It’s also able to find places and streets in texts. The result is a stand-alone product, which can be integrated in your existing CMS through its embed function. AGI MapWare comes as a „white label“ solution: It’s customizable to match it to your own CI .
The Lokaler MapWare touch-intuitive interface displays different layers of information simultaneously. The responsive design works in the browser on the desktop, on tablets and on smartphones. It with a search function and social media integration. Individual searches can be collected as favorites and you can also share the collection with others.
Lokaler MapWare is based on OpenStreetMap, but it can also be applied to Bing and Google Maps.
